Graduate Student Appreciation Week is a weeklong celebration designed to celebrate and show appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our graduate students. Through a series of exciting events, we aim to recognize their achievements and foster a sense of community and support!

Planning for the Spring 2026 Graduate Student Appreciation Week is still underway. Details such as dates, times, and locations have not yet been finalized.  The information currently displayed reflects last spring’s events and is provided to give you an idea of the types of activities and programs typically offered. Updated details for the 2026 celebration will be posted as soon as they are confirmed.

GSAW Kickoff!

Join us as we celebrate the start of GSAW! Stop by for swag, snacks, and don’t forget to grab your Event Passport to make the most of the week’s festivities. Let’s kick off the celebration together!

Have your Event Passport initialed by our team at each event. Attend all events to fill up your passport and earn an entry to win a prize.

Breakfast On-The-Go 

Stop by for a quick and easy breakfast to kickstart your day. Grab some snacks and fuel up before heading to class or the lab! Food will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

Graduate Family Night

Bring the whole family to Graduate Family Night for a fun evening of games and pizza. Participate in Bingo for a chance to win prizes!  In collaboration with Student Well-Being.

Setting Tone for Success: First Day Forward

Hosted by COER, this presentation educates students on how to prepare for their first day and other key elements to help them succeed in their new role. Come and enjoy popcorn, COER giveaways, resources, and the claw machine. The headshot station will also be available for use!

Join us for a fun and creative event where you can express your grad school journey through art! Grab a paintbrush and bring your experiences, challenges, and triumphs to life on canvas.
