Grad Track Pathway

The Grad Track Pathway (GTP) is an accelerated academic pathway designed for motivated Missouri S&T undergraduate students to begin graduate-level coursework early. By applying early and receiving conditional admission to a graduate program, students can take select graduate courses that may count toward both degrees—saving time, reducing costs, and making a smooth transition into graduate study.

GTP helps bridge the gap between undergraduate and graduate study by allowing students to earn credit that counts toward both degree programs, depending on the track. It’s an excellent option for students who are confident in their plans to pursue graduate education and want to maximize their time at Missouri S&T.

Missouri S&T offers three GTP tracks, each tailored to a specific graduate pathway:

  • A track for students pursuing a master’s degree

  • A track for students interested in earning a graduate certificate

  • A track for students planning to pursue a Ph.D.

For more detailed information on pathways offered by each department, along with specific details for each, visit our GTP Departmental Requirements Page.
